My Book Review Called Georges marvellous Medicine By Ronald Dahl

May 26th, 2006 by mbsgwyham

I have just read a novel, entitled Georges Marvellous Medicine, written by Ronald Dahl. It is a funny book.

In Georges Marvellous Medicine the plot was the George got loads of horrible gruesome medicines to give to his mean, nasty grandma. So that his grandma could blow and he would nether have to look after his horrible grandma ever again.

One of the events I liked in this book was when George was putting all of the disgusting things into his grandma’s medicine like sleeping pills and shaving foam eye drops and there were many other gruesome medicine’s he put into his grandma medicine. I liked this scene because it made me laugh because of all of sickly medicine he put was just revolting and he was giving it to his grandma!

My favourite character was George I admired him because he did what he wanted to do and wasn’t always bossed by his grandma. So because his grandma was so mean and bossy he decided to get his own back which was really good.

Sam nervously put his two feet in the darkness of the stairs. As he was walking down the stairs he could not see a thing in the pitch black. So he stared to feel the cold dull wall to help him through the darkness. Also he had a little stumble and nearly fell.

But he stopped and anticipated, and then he slowly put his feet on the stairs one by one. As he started to feel everything was alright Sam heard a noise from the horrible pitch black darkness. Then when he started to see some light he could see a shadow then as he turned around there was a figure

Into the Dark

Sam hesitated at the top of the stairs, blinking sleepily in the darkness. The blackness below was absolute, there was no light at all. The light switch was out of reach, way back across the landing. There was the noise again. The rest of the house was silent. What was it?
